Watches with an alarm function

When someone here recently mentioned that chronometers are not a watch type they "get" (not my thing either), I was wondering what kind of extra time-measuring complication I would appreciate on a watch, and it would be this: an alarm. Not to wake up in the morning, but for usage as a kitchen timer: I would be setting a duration of, say, 30 minutes and when this time is up, the watch should give me a little chime.

With battery-operated watches such a function surely exists. But are there mechanical ones with an alarm? Out of the top of my head I could only think of the Zeitwerk as a mechanical chimer, but the thought of this as a kitchen timer would have Adolph Lange spinning in his grave.

Before anyone starts: yes, I have used a diver with rotating bezel for this function, but that didn't really work for me, there ought to be something audible (or possibly: feelable).

I'm not aware of any with a timer, although there are several with alarm functionality, such as the Tudor Advisor or the JLC Memovox.

I have a vintage Benrus Wristalarm that features an alarm function. It uses a separate mainspring to power the alarm, which is not very loud, and only runs for about 15-20 seconds. In the attached photo, the red arrow points to the alarm time.

Do Vulcain Crickets work like this, or is it a daily alarm like a Memovox?

Panerai PAM00098 Radiomir GMT Alarm using the GP59 movement. The alarm is no where as pretty as the JLC Memovox but an alarm nonetheless. The automatic counterweight winds the watch while it rotates in one direction and winds the alarm in the other direction.

Sadly, there is no way I pay Panerai money for something I intend to use as a part-time kitchen-timer.

Parnis, you make plenty of Panerai-inspired dials with Panerai-inspired complications - how about an alarm?
