Omega Seamaster 300 166.0324

The Omega Seamaster 300 ref. 166.024 is one of the most iconic diver watches ever. A lot of modern diver from Omega and other brands take inspiration from it. The case is beautifully designed and it's a real pleasure to wear, and the sword hands are one of my favorites. The dial is simple, clean and the curved crystal gives it a very nice distortion. The only thing missing from this WatchCo 166.0324 is that it will never develop patina, but on the up side, it glows like a torch. This watch is a true definition of "strap monster" and here we paired it with our Two-Stitch Honey Leather strap.

What are your thoughts on this reference and the whole WatchCo thing? Would you like to get one or for Omega to do a re-release of this watch?

This watch is one of my grails I think a re-re release would be a great idea as long as it looked the way it came out of the factory!!!

I didn't like the sword hands when I first met this watch, then I realized it's because I've seen it copied so many times by the likes of orient. I've come to appreciate the well balanced dial and the historical significance.

What year is this fine example from?
