Modified turtle or is it a SKX, or a Islander?
What to call it? It’s a seiko turtle movement in a Islander ISL-34 case, crystal times coin edge bezel and bezel insert. I couldn’t find a black Seiko I liked, so I made my own. My srpe93 turtle was beat up and the hardlex was scratched pretty bad. So I gave it a new lease on life.

Make up your own name for it, it's your custom build now. That's what I do. One is the Feiko Bronze Express: NH34 in a bronze Turtle/Willard case and built from AliExpress parts. Other is Fauxnerai Alex 35: Panerai-style case with a NH35, and also built with AliExpress parts.

I called this SKX mod the Faux-Lander. The fully lumed dial, lumed sapphire bezel insert, and the caseback are all from Long Island Watch Co.
