Funny, but the copying the copier just says, "we are equals."
It's one of those, deep discussions. Chinese brands get a bad rep for homaging but then every watch company borrows from each other, look at all the new timex watches, theres some serious homaging going on. Then look at Addiesdive for example describe themselves as a microbrand on their instagram. Seiko seem to win all round, as lots of watches use their movements.

Quite right, I look at CW and "The Twelve" takes a lot of inspiration from the chap who designed the royal oak and nautalis. Then we have the aqautine, which has taken inspiration from 50 phathoms admittedly this is done well on both accounts as they have made it there own.
We have the same with Baltic's new watch which looks like LUC chopard
Brew which looks like the old omega quartz with he integrated bracelet.
But I think when it's done right like the above it pays respect too the designer but they do little difference to make it their own. Albeit some a little too close for comfort.
The Chinese ones tends to be, well we will just copy. Although this Chinese one, they have done the sma eand made it theirs. They haven't taken the seeds, they kept indices and took a colour pattern on an already well used movement and dial style. So I don't really see the harm.
The stupid underdog one still looks loads better and tbf that guacamole 🥑 looks class 🤣😁

“In nature nothing is created, every thing is copied”
Sheer brilliance! 😂

So since Underd0g are returning the favour should we feel guilty buying a proxima watch. 🤔
