Does anyone know a quality person to service this?

My grandfather passed a few years ago, leaving me his vintage omega that he wore during his wedding. I'm getting married next year and I wanted to wear to make me feel like he could be a part of the wedding. It's still working, but one of the dial markers is now floating around in the case. As well as the crystal being quite dinged up.

I’d either go with Omega service center nearest you or Geneva Watch in SF. This is a fabulous watch and carries with it deep meaning for you. Treat it well.

Congratulations on finding your soulmate and may the future bring you much happiness.

This has been recommended to me, but I have not used him.

Claudio's Watch Repair in Waxhaw would do a very good job but expect to pay $425. There are others who would be less expensive in other areas but I do not know anyone else in the Charlotte area I can vouch for

I greatly appreciate it, I just finished looking at his website and I'll give him a call in the morning!

425.00? That would be a pretty good deal. Expect about double that for a starting quote from Omega. Worth it for a wonderful family heirloom.

I have been working with Matt at TheWatchTech.com for two decades. He has kept all my vintage Omegas on fine order since before I moved to Switzerland and became Swiss! I STILL send him my watches.

The stories that watches tell make this such a meaningful hobby for me. Thank you for sharing.
