True GMT with or without date?

Would you guys prefer your true gmt watches with or without date?

Having a date seems to be important for a gmt watch, tho I know of many who prefer gmt watches without dates.

What would you choose and why?

Personally I don't like dates on anything - they're only useful once per day for anyone with a functional memory. Just a superfluous complication for the vast majority.

A GMT without a date seems incomplete to me when tracking two zones that have a significant time difference. I would look at GMTs with a date sub-dial though for purely aesthetic reasons.

it's my own personal opinion but I really don't see the point in a GMT watch without a date complication.

A month late into this conversation! As for me, I would say I prefer the one without a date. Since it gets confusing especially when the home time and where I am in have date differences. I usually use the GMT to figure out what time it is back home and if it is day or night. Which can be indicated by the bezel.
