Speak of the devil and it shall appear, Marathon x Long Island Watch collab
A few days ago @jjprica posed a question I couldn't resist giving my 2¢ on, 'Best and/or favorite Flieger watch?'. I love them all so I opined on several I thought were worth consideration. One of which was the Marathon Navigator. I stated that 'I am secretly hoping for a Arctic version' and I'll be damned. It seems a few days prior to that post this collaboration between Marathon x Long Island Watch occured, unbeknownst to me.
Behold, the first white dialed Navigator with blue tritium lume. I think the orange second hand is also a nice touch.
I'm surprised I didn't see it here on WatchCrunch earlier, so I figured I'd put it out there for any interested. It is not a limited edition. Apparently Marc made 250 and if the demand is there for more he is able to produce more. So for anyone else out there that was looking for a white dialed Navigator, you now have a pretty cool option.

Navigators are great watches, and very practical. I find the tritium makes them perfect for use in low light, and they make a perfect nighttime watch/bedside clock. I find clocks and phones too bright for my eyes when I roll over half asleep.
So yeah, I totally missed the 2 other posts about the drop but I am still excited to have this one inbound to replace the SSNAV-D that I recently moved on.

Agreed. The SSNAV-D was my nighttime watch as well. Having a sick dog who needs out several times a night, the Navigator was perfect to note the time and not have to pull out the phone and run the risk of getting side tracked in the wee hours of the morning. I missed it immediately after selling it on. I'm looking forward to getting one back in the collection, and with a white dial no less.

$400. I did just get an email from Marathon today and it appears they will be dropping their stainless steel navigator with a white dial on Feb 16th. Always nice to have so many solid choices. 🥶❄️

Just a heads up, Marathon will be dropping their stainless steel white dial navigator on Feb 16th. If you can wait till then you'll have two options for a white dial. I have a feeling the lume and second hand will be different tho. We'll see
