Help me with verifying authentication!
I'm finally getting my favourite Seiko SRPD59K1 But from Flipkart( it's an Indian e-commerce website) I've always used Flipkart and pretty satisfied but I've always read negatively towards Flipkart from others.
But I don't want to risk it now since it's a significant amount.
Does Seiko provide a QR code or something to verify the authentication in the box or is there any other way?

There is a small QR code usually on the tag that is attached but I'm not sure what is the purpose.
If you receive the watch in a silver Seiko 5 box and a stamped warranty card, everything is good.
Post pictures when you get the watch. Usually a dead giveaway is the movement. I have yet to see copies of the new Seiko 5 line up.

You would be surprised to know there are fakes of the SRPD models out there already... Seen a few on Reddit
