How On Earth Does a Tourbillon Watch Work?

Hey Crunchers! Hope all is well on whichever corner of the world you are in.

Now, I have known about these Tourbillon watches for a while but I never got to know them in a more deeper level. Who in here owns this type of watch? Pros/Cons? Any advice for the Crunchers who are thinking about buying one?

Also, I posted this video for those who may not know how this type of watch works and were curious about what comes along with owning a watch like this and what makes it all come together. If you own a watch like this, tell us your stories and experiences as this may be a watch that may be a "grail" watch for Crunchers on here.

Thanks!

Its easier to explain the 'why' as opposed to the 'how' - by continuously rotating the balance wheel it allows the effect of gravity to act upon it through a range of directions, reducing its impact on the time keeping of the watch. The fancier the tourbillon the more axes it will rotate through. So in theory it increases accuracy, in reality its primarily just to show off how impressive the engineering behind the movement is to allow the watch makers to have a bit of a well earned flex!

Never had one myself, a bit fussy for my eye but they are definitely impressive - I can't imagine they are any different to own but I'd like to see one serviced as I've not come across a good video of that before
