A Big Thank You To All The Crunchers!!
Good morning to all of you! Don't want to make this long so I will get into it:
I am a member of the subreddit r/watches and I decided to get an opinion/advice of what am I missing in my collection. Although I did get some great advice, I got mostly trolls that obviously were stirring the pot with dumb ass comments. I ignored most of them but with some, I had to respond back in the best way I know how: With my homemade buffoonery lol!
Anyway, I learned that when you are on the internets, you have to have some thick skin especially if you ask for an opinion and all. The web is not always the nicest place around.
But back to this site/community. I love the fact that this is a place for watch nerds. I don't care if you love G-Shocks and have 20 of them or have 20 Breitlings. We are all cool in here. We always give advice compliments on straps, lume, and show off our pieces with joy.
Okay, that's all. If you live in Florida, be safe and remember to hit that gas station and fill up your car and gas containers and that ATM machine early. Cash is king if the power goes out.

Agreed! Personally, I’m not a fan of some of the watches i see on here - G-Shock being a good example. But I respect that people have different tastes and I can appreciate that. Likewise, I’m sure many of the watches I own that speak to me aesthetically or otherwise, are not appealing to many here, and that’s okay. It’s nice to see a group of people who can appreciate the hobby of watch collecting at large without getting personal and stuck up about it. A rare oddity on the internet.

Half of it is bots people pushing ads and the other half just repeat the same talking points. I’ve used it to sell watches but this forum is much better.

Oh, you're in there too? Gotcha. Yea, things were getting stupid in there. I am thinking about leaving that subreddit altogether after all that mess that went down. Some people shouldn't be allowed access to a laptop/desktop/internet/etc. That's why I rarely post on Reddit except for the r/glitchart subreddit and r/vintageaudio.
You'll find a few trolls and or jerks on other watch sites as well
