If you voted on my previous poll, thank you. I am not using this to decide. Instead, I am using this to get more insights (to hopefully make a decision).
I had pitted the Tudor BB monochrome steel vs. the BB ceramic. I liked the ceramic more but wanted to see why people liked the monochrome more (in a crowded space of monochrome). I pivoted and bought the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Summer Blue. I know...big pivot!
I still like the ceramic style of the BB ceramic and wanted to explore some microbrand options. Here are the three I am considering from Baltic. And yes, I know none are METAS certified.
1. Dual-Crown Black PVD - I think this is a close alternative to the ceramic with a better style.
2. Titanium Black - I think this is a nice competitor to the BB monochrome.
3. Bronze Blue Gilt - I saw the black version and loved the patina. I like how it will change age. These are also Naval Academy colors (which is really cool).
I am interested to see where this goes.
I favor the look of the dual crown, personally. Though the thing about the beveled edges being bare polished steel still makes my brain itch a little.
