IMHO, How many people will ever take their watches deeper than 100 ft? It’s a spec people use for comparison but in all honesty not that relevant for daily use right? If I’m just swimming in a pool I would worry about my speed master getting wet. What’s more likely to happen? Losing it in the locker room or encountering water damage?
I would go check out the duty free watch stores at the airport. Then head to Orchard Road. All the malls have every major brand you can think of. Then head over to Far East Plaza to check out the second hand stores.

I would give this one 8.5 out 10. The size and fit are great (7” wrist). Looks awesome. 3 things that I wish were a bit better:
The hands are bit too simple. Not necessarily looking for Mercedes hands but something more interesting would have been more desirable for me.
I wished they had lumed all the markers instead of just the numbers.
The movement with the dead crown position (day of week) I’m not crazy about. Feels a bit clumsy and takes getting used to.
1 and 2 are more subjective so probably not a big deal. #3 is the only thing that might stop me from buying another one.
Overall, great bang for the buck and love wearing it. Definitely scratching the itch while I ponder whether to get the Explorer 36.
