That's how they roll at TF. I gave up a long time ago and just search for pre-owned.
Being on the wait list is the new flex with the watch world. You get to claim a good watch without paying for it. They need a waitlist there.
That's a damn shame the watches are good but impossible to buy when new and way too expensive when used.
