Timex x Huckberry
Say what you will, the Timex Q line if rereleases are pretty cool, but at AUD$350 we're getting ripped off here in little old Australia 🤬.
I was trawling through some online auctions for work and came across this little beauty with a reasonable reserve so took a punt, placed a bid, and promptly forgot about it for a week.
In the end my bid for a lot LESS than AUD$350 won ('twas randomly among an auction of workshop tools so no last minute watch price snipers hanging around).
When it came this morning I assumed I was getting a pre-owned watch. Nope. Still had the stickers on it!
So all in all a good buy from the actual buying perspective.
The size is great on my tiny girlie wrist but as good as it looks the hidden lug bracelet just ripped too many hairs out of my arm. So onto a NATO it went. Turns out it is blue, white, read and not black white red, so might have to fix that later...
The quartz movement is bliss, I own a lot of manual wind and automatics so I can leave this one off the wrist for a week and still just have the time! And it is so light. Like not wearing a watch at all.
It's not a Timex Q per se, not branded as such, but it is the same (or at least the same style) of case and overall aesthetic. Love the look. Very 70s.
Huckberry is an outdoor clothing brand? Can any American types confirm?

[Edit] now that night has fallen in the Land Down Under, I noticed a pausity of lume, that is, only the hands have lume, and not all that much either! Oh well. No one can see how good it looks in the dark anyway

- Quartz! Don't have to wind it when I haven't worn it in a week.

- Colourway is gorgeous.

- Shipping - not easy to find here in Australia.
- Ltd. edition from 2021. Difficult to find.

Really cool watch to pick up on the cheap from auction. The hair pulling integrated bracelet would drive me crazy too.
Really cool retro vibe here. Just need get the strap colors flipped or try on leather.
Nice watch and review! I'd think the limited release would be a pro. Has a Coke and Pepsi vibe with the strap. As an "American type," 🤣 I'm not experienced with the Huckleberry brand, but it seems to be a hip, outdoors-focused online men's clothing retailer.
