Making your own watch

Hey everyone. Has anyone tried making their own watch. I'm not talking Roger Smith level engineering but rather just sourcing movement, designing the dial, hands, and then maybe either just sourcing the dial or designing and CNC'ing it....

I built a few. Aliexpress and youtube are your friends. NH35 builds are really simple and just plug and play. Start to finish for under $100.00
