The watch that started it all for me. This was my one watch collection for 10 years. Casio Pro-trek PRW-3000

The watch that started it all for me: my Casio Pro-Trek PRW-3000. I wore this watch every single day for at least 10 years. I never once had to charge it or set it after the initial setup, as it was Casio's Tough Solar and Multiband 6. It survived kayaking, hiking, beach trips, mountain biking, etc. The watch was perfect for me—absolute peace of mind and no maintenance with all sorts of features. It wasn't too big and had a rugged look without appearing too crazy, so it didn't look out of place when dressed up a bit. Things I love about this watch: -Yes, I know it's rugged-looking, especially now with the Paracord bracelet on it, but on the original band with the negative display, I didn't think it looked too out of place for everyday activities. -Absolutely no maintenance at all with Casio's Tough Solar and Multiband 6. -The size was perfect, especially considering its triple sensor; it is very slim for all the features it has. -I liked how on the home screen, you can set it to show both the day and date at the same time. Things it is lacking: -So, for the 10 years I wore this watch every day, this was not a problem lol, but now that I have watches with a positive display, I will never go back. Not a fan anymore of negative displays. Although, to be fair, the negative display did make it look much slicker and could dress up a bit better as a result. -No world time swapping (when I eventually moved on from this watch, this was the very first thing I looked for in the new watch). -Doesn't have the toughness of a G-Shock, which I would prefer (although it is much slimmer and the case is steel, so longevity-wise, it would definitely hold up longer, I think).

Pro-Treks are some of the best looking utility watches. Definitely built to last so I hope the line keeps going, especially the all digital ones.
