Vintage watch repair in San Francisco?

The seconds hand on my vintage Seamaster came off this morning and I'm looking for recommendations for a watch repair shop in San Francisco that I can take it to. The watch was just serviced before my purchase 2 years ago, so I'm wanting a trusted shop who will not try to upsell me to a full service. I come into San Francisco for work every other week, so a location in the city or close to Union Square would be ideal. Thank you!

I know this reply is late, but I'm posting my experience for all my WC brothers in San Francisco:

Upon the recommendation of @rbq on WUS and some research on Yelp, I took my watch to Setrak's Watch Repair on Post St. Setrak was a pleasure to deal with. I was lucky to come in when he also had the time to open up the watches and give me his honest opinion on what services were recommended to be done in the future. He could have easily pushed for a complete $650 service, but convinced me to hold off until the watch ran very inconsistently or if I was completely dissatisfied with the watch's performance. I found him to be very personable and kind, even offering to replace the gasket on my Seamaster for free. I was actually a bit embarrassed to have him also replace the cracked crystal my cheap Geckota after learning that he was certified by Patek, lol.

I guess I could have also checked into the other recommended shops in the area, but I'm glad to have hit a home run the first time around with Setrak.

If you're in the peninsula, another guy that was very highly recommended by a WIS family friend is Leonel of Leonel Watch Repair in San Bruno, who I've also met personally on an earlier trip. I would have taken my watches to him, but San Bruno is just far enough from my home in the East Bay or my office in San Francisco to give me pause.

Hope this helps....I would love to hear other people's watch repair recommendations/experiences in San Francisco or anywhere else in the Bay Area!

Thanks for these recommendations. I am on the SF peninsula and will check out Leonel Watch. I have been playing phone tag with Mish Watch repair in Menlo Park. If anyone has experience with them, I am all ears

Leonel is a good watch repair guy who's been highly recommended by friends and family and an even better person. He was having medical issues when I last spoke to him last year, so please be patient when giving him a call as he may not be observing normal business hours. He's open on Saturdays though, which is a blessing if a weekend works better for you.
