Double-Drilled Lugs?
Design feature or serendipitous flaw?
I noticed these Double-Drilled Lugs holes today when testing out a few straps today. Not sure if this is purposeful, but it's definitely useful! The inner holes minimize gaps for leather and canvas straps, whilst the outer lugs allow NATO straps more room to pass through (especially my thicker NATOs).
Anyone else seen this before? Either owners of this model or other watches?

Have seen a few companies use them.
If I'm having clearance issues with a single pass, I go curved springbars, or thinner strap. YMMV.
I've seen them on a couple of watches before. It's to help get a better fit when using different types of straps, so you either don't have a big gap, or you can fit chunkier straps in.
Ball does this but I think they had enough spacing that redundant spring bars could be used.

How else would the spring bars attach? To clarify, the double holes dont go all the way through the lugs - there's just two slots for springbars.
I own one watch with double drilled lugs and I love the feature. It's great to fit different types of straps to the case or use as micro-adjust to find the perfect fit. I sometimes pop the quick release spring bars to move to a different lug hole if my wrist swells, it's like having on the fly adjustment on a leather strap! 👌
