Today I bought this small book about Timex.
I think watch magazines in Japan often refers to Camper as a flagship model of Timex. I prefer Safari, in the second picture. My only regret about Timex is, that I should have bought the 1986 Ironman reissue version when it was still available.

I am also a Timex fan, though my regret is not holding onto the Timex that went to war with me.
I wore a Timex Atlantis when I went to Afghanistan back in 2007, but I can't find it anywhere in my kit. I'd trade that watch for 200 ALS Odysseus...
The strap on that Safari is pretty sweet
Hello, another Timex fan here. My first watch was a Timex I got as a Christmas gift when I was in 2nd grade. I am excited by the new mechanical and solar watches Timex has been releasing and have more than a few in my collection.
I am looking forward to the Expedition North and am also looming at one of the new Waterbury mechanical models.

I did not know Timex has released the solar powered model. Expedition North has good legibility and quality seem to improved greatly from the regular Camper models.

Timex has actually released a number of solar Expedition models; Gallatin, Ranger, and Scout, so the North will be the fourth solar model of which I know.
its a nice bit of ephemera.
