Titanium

I just want to hear everyone’s thoughts on titanium watches and what are your favorite ones?

Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean is my titanium grail.

Good for keeping the weight down on decent divers (esp. for the smaller wrists).

Biggest negative is that the bezel action is way less satisfying than with stainless steel.

Titanium finishing used to be significantly poorer than stainless steel but that has improved significantly and higher end watches now also are coating titanium so it has moved from tool only to high end watches for me.

I don’t like the light weight feel on my wrist. It feels not as solid as a stainless steel watch.

However Titanium has some amazing properties. It feels warm to the touch. Is more scratch resistant (only alloys) and hypo allergic.

Agree about the weight and the bezel action. My citizen promaster is light for the size but the bezel action is very light
