Shinola Runwell - Buffalo Trace! 🦬
Girlfriend got me this watch as an early birthday gift! Also just in time because she knows I’m about to go to Louisville for a bachelor party and tour the Buffalo Trace distillery. Honestly, I’ve never considered getting a Shinola and I likely would not have picked this out for myself. However, it’s actually quite nice and I love it because she got it for me😌Can’t wait to have a glass of Buffalo Trace with it 🥃 🦬

My son in law is not exactly a watch guy, doesn’t understand the thrill of an expensive mechanical timepiece, thinks his wife and her family are not wired properly, he loves Shinola bought one before he and my daughter did the I dos, bought another for the service. To each his own, I won’t pay a couple of grand for a Raptors play off game like the year they won the NBA Championship.
Looks great. The green dial looks really nice. I am a fan of what they are doing in Detroit and have zero complaints about my Shinola.
Pro tip: when you need a new battery, take it to a Shinola storefront and they’ll send it in for free. I’ve done this several times over the years. They even replaced all the inner workings (worked fine but they didn’t seem to think so) for free.
I always liked the toolish appearance and the wire lugs of the Shinola watches, as well as their wrist bands. Even though the price can be consider high for a quartz watch, the watches are well made and mine were very clean. Customer service is also better than average.
I've largely replaced the batteries myself, as my wife has a number of these watches. Those Ronda movements usually last a long time, and I never saw a need to replace one.
