NWA: My Bel Canto finally arrived!

15 months, 1 baby, and many other watches later, my Bel Canto finally arrived! Annoying as it was to see all the other limited edition versions of the BC being released in the interim, I finally have mine in hand.

Initial thoughts - I enjoy the variation of the colour on the dial in different light due to the sunburst effect. The leather strap feels luxe and comfortable on the wrist, though a little thick. The chime rings with a satisfying resonance. And there's just so much to look at on the dial!

Feels like it wears slightly big now since I've been moving towards smaller case sizes, but I'll need to give this baby a test run in the coming weeks before I can get to a conclusion.

Great combo. Congrats. The size was a concern for me to, but if I see one in red, it will be mine.

Thanks! I love the purple version but I don't think it's a watch I'll get multiple colourways for.

Snap 😁😁😁 I bought the bracelet and 2 straps, the light blue and a dark blue. I like it in the dark blue with light blue stitching at the mo

Yeah this looks pretty classic, I'm not a fan of how of how it looks on bracelet though. I wanted the camel strap to give it some contrast, but now I might get a blue strap like yours as an option!

I like it on the bracelet but I didn’t want to scratch it up. I just took a couple for photo to show it a bit better. Interestingly I worth this at the British watchmakers day in London and was chatting to Mike France the CEO of CW (really nice guy) and he remarked on it so did a couple of the CW staff. This is a CW strap but it seems that they didn’t think about it as it’s not for the Bel Canto line. A few people around the stand also thought it suited the watch.

I think the light blue stitching really complements the dial. Though I think the thicker strap that comes with the BC goes with the thick case a little more. At least in the photos it seems like the watch head is slightly overpowering the thinner strap.

Is the dark blue with light stitching a CW strap? Looks great. How are you finding the dial colour? I think this is my favourite of the ones available but it comes across as quite grey in some photos.

Yes it is a CW straps and does have light blue stitching that matches the dial however it doesn’t seem to be listed now 🧐 the blue is really nice, I will try and take some photos tomorrow to try and capture the colour properly
