1st wandering hour watch!

This just arrived! Angles Cerberus - a HK/Chinese microbrand with Miyota wandering hours automatic movement in black titanium case and domed sapphire. I've always been fascinated by the wandering hours movement, but Urwerk and the AP Starwheel are out of reach. Saw this release and thought it was a simple and elegant way of displaying the movement, and at a good price so why not?

Initial thoughts - the AR is not that great, the domed sapphire is still really reflective, but doesn't affect in terms of being able to tell the time. Came with silicon, leather, and semi canvas/leathery straps. The 1st 2 needs resizing, and the last feels stiff and needs breaking in. Winding doesn't feel very smooth, and the push pull crown means staying away from any water sources. Size at 41mm is wearable and light due to titanium, might need to get a new strap on it.

All in - needs some wrist time to properly assess, but liking the looks so far and maybe swapping the strap out will make me like it more.

Congrats on the new watch! I am in love with the wandering hour watch, and you're right so many are not readily accessible. I'd be interested in hearing your take in a week or two on this one. Xeric has a couple of models that I have been looking at that are much more in-reach than the others you mentioned. What's always been amazing to me is how old that movement actually is, it dates back to the 17th century.

Cheers! Enjoy!

Thanks Mike! I always found Xeric to be slightly over the top for me design wise, so I appreciated the simplicity of this one.
