I have been into watches since turning 10yo, when my grandparents got me my first "adult" watch.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A blue Mondia quartz chronograph.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Doxa, Tudor, Grand Seiko, Marathon and Longines
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
The Tudor Black Bay 58, because:
- it's a diver, so I don't have to worry about swimming, sailing or showering with it
- it's slim and elegant enough to go with a suit as much as with a t-shirt
- it's modern vintage done to perfection
- it doesn't attract too much attention
- it's from a brand with a rich history
- to my eyes, it's perfect. It's a watch that makes me feel like any future releases will not make me itch to upgrade
- the rotating bezel is great for boiling pasta
