SOTC 2024

Here's the state of my (albeit pretty random) watch collection. I feel like I'll need a little pop of colour down the line, but I'm still pretty happy...

I can very much recommend the 5000U, not only for the monochrome esthetics, but because of how much better it feels compared to the 5610 (especially the resin and the heavier feel due to its internal metal case)

My latest G-Shock ended up being one the most monochromatic versions out there 😂 we can't help it! Glad I'm not alone 🖤

Thank you!

Thanks! Casio is a good option! But I'm thinking more of a Doxa Sub 300 in their classic orange colour 🍊

Great choice of watch and fantastic camera too. (And thanks for your work, from a fellow airman 🙏)

I share a similar need for good WR, as I regularly go sailing on pretty small sailboats like Lasers, 420, etc where you're surprisingly exposed to the elements (and it's not too uncommon to end up outright underwater). For that, a diver is pretty much what I consider the bare minimum (and I tend to strap them on a marine nationale type strap, less chances to feed my watches to the fish).

As an added bonus I can shower with them, which means I don't need to leave my watches unattended in the changing room.

I never fully understood those with 200-300mt modern divers on their wrist that would not even swim with them (but we all have different comfort zones, I guess)
