Tudor Black Bay black & burgundy alternative

Hi All, I would really like to get my hands on a Tudor BB in black and burgundy but, already having a BB58 and a Ranger, I can't really justify the expenditure.

I noticed that Davosa offer a very similar looking watch: the Ternos Sixties which is reasonably priced and has a decent specification. Does anyone have any experience of Davosa watches, are they any good?

Some advice would be appreciated. Also, can anyone recommend another alternative to the Black Bay black & burgundy please?

Thank you!

The Orient Kanno would be a nice alternative

Davosa are solid made. Nothing wrong. But mostly they do homages/design copies. Thats ok. But therefore in my opinion the MSRP is too much. As I know for around almost 1K.

So if you can get with discount go for it.

As an alternative but an own design:

GLYCINE GL0406

COMBAT SUB 39 M

Often to find for aroumd 500. Do also not pay the original MSRP of over 800.

But wear what ever makes you happy.

Good advice, thanks. I can get one new with discount for around £700 which is ok I think. Will check out the Glycine too as they seem to be pretty decent

Nomadic is a good alternative! My wife has the Turas and it runs very well.

Thanks, I was not aware of Nomadic, they look interesting! The specs look impressive too with a regulated SW200 and on the fly bracelet adjustment

If you have questions on any of their watches, Peter is awesome!

There's nothing like the original. But nothing wrong with getting a tribute.

However, when I saw it recently I was underwhelmed. Maybe it is because I have many Black Bays though the METAs certification is tempting. I mean like it is attractive and all but in my case, is it worth the price of entry or would that money be better spent on something else?

these are awesome, but I believe they're all sold out. And they're not readily available on secondary; at least from what I've seen

Thanks, do you mean the Davosa watch or the Glycine?
