Great value for money watch

I am majority of the time on the camp of not buying a homage or replica watch. I think they never give you the same quality or even provide good value for money. I do have a Omega replica which I bought during my time in Thailand. I have it as a token of the amazing time I had with my friend there.

I have seen many many offerings from Pagani on Amazon, and never looked twice. So when I heard it's name, on a YouTubers video I follow, it got my attention. So video was about some hidden gems available on AliExpress, for incredible price as part of their sales event. For roughly $60 Canadian, this was a good proposition (usually goes for $100+).

It is a PRX Chrono copy, which I bet is a great watch. However, I don't it's $2000+ good. There has been some discussions around the plastic parts in the powermatic movement to lower the cost in genral. I feel when you are spending $2000, there are tons of amazing options, and cutting corners shouldn't be the case. Don't get me wrong I love PRX. I own one (the Quartz one), but I won't get their automatic. Just a personal decision.

Saying that, I absolutely love the design of the PRX Chrono. It's beautiful, on the outside. This $60 Pagani homage watch definitely is stratching that itch I had.

The watch feels solid, fit and finish is decent, and has a Seiko movement inside. Love it.

Would love to know your experience with this watch and if you have any watch from Pagani Design that you love.

I just did the same thing and also never really looked into homages but….

Pagani kept popping up on YouTube and…

I pulled the trigger for $56 CAD the Paul Newman Daytona homage.

Just a truly unattainable watch, made affordable.

With a Meca quartz movement and sapphire crystal…steal! Haha I am interested to know how it holds up though 👍

I bought one of those 3 years ago and it's still running like a well oiled Rolex🤙🏽 Unfortunately, it doesn't see a lot of wrist time. I like seeing the second hand sweep.

💯

My reason for buying a homage would be, 1) I love the watch design but I think the price and the value doesn't align, or 2) I absolutely cannot attain a watch and I absolutely love it.

Can I be honest? I am down for some homage watches. I have my eye on the Pagani homage to the Milgauss because I'll probably never afford that watch. Isn't this an homage to PRX chronograph? If I wanted the PRX, I could swing that normally. Me i am only going to limit homages to things out of my price range. This is a nice looking piece but not for me

Just picked up the watch, it homages. Pagani look to have done a good job on this one.

That is honestly great to know! Ya, I like to run the chronograph a lot so I can see the sweep 🤣

Looks solid 💯

Got the blue model last week ,first Pagani and we’ll impressed. I’d tried the Prx chronograph and it was just too big I felt (I’m a big Prx fanboy) . Even put it on a delugs strap that cost over twice what the watch did 🤦‍♂️

Oh brother I do that too! But I also don't want to run the battery out. So I don't run it as often. That's why it doesn't see much wrist time 😕🤙🏽

Going to get the same strap.

Going to get the same strap.

I wanted a white strap but it was before Tissot released their OE straps ,the Tissot go on and off in seconds (I use a Bergeon style tweezers tool) but the delugs strap was a bit of a struggle.

The Tissot straps are now offered on the Tissot website. Think I'll go for the white as looks really good on yours with tue blue dial.

Is it for the Pagani or a tissot . For the Pagani even a budget eBay job will fit because the bar of the bracelet passes right through the strap ,it just needs tapped out with a pin tool (I can’t remember which way the bar pushes out though)

I'll need a Tissot strap as its for the PRX Chrono.

Just checked Tissot website it looks like they only do leather straps for the chronograph at the minute the chronograph is 42mm

Yes, will definitley be looking at getting a leather/rubber strap as the PRX is quite heavy on the metal strap.
