Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I was tired of wearing this particular Citizen quartz watch and decided I would like to look into mechanical watches and down the rabbit hole I fell.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
The first watch that I can still actively remember is a Movado Museum watch (gold case, black dial, leather strap) that I bought in the 90s as my first "serious" watch.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
Every watch has a story but none are particularly interesting. :)
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Decide which watch to get with your heart and not your head. Decide on when to buy the watch and how much you can afford with your head and not your heart.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Omegas always have my attention. I so want to get into Grand Seiko but every one of their watches has some quirk or other that keeps me from pulling the trigger.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
40mm Tudor Pelagos. I'd buy it in a heartbeat! Doesn't exist (yet) so my wallet is spared.
