Plot twist

To put in simple words, I went from "about to buy my next watch" to "unexpected costs stopping me from buying anything and having to wait another few months😭😭😭"

But

Everything is alright guys, I am not giving up the battle, I will find stability to purchase my next watch confortable😁😁😁

This is my NINDO🥷

Unless exceptionally rare, you’ll always be able to get the watch when you’re ready. Hang in there.

·

Hope everything is well and the watch will be there for you when ready

What what did did you have in your sites?

Have you tried a new strap instead to make an old Watch feel new?

🍻

I feel your pain! The same thing happened to me just yesterday. Unexpected vehicular issues just when I thought I was in the clear. On addition to another repair I had done two weeks ago.

I was eyeing an Islander ISL-123. Now I'm eyeing about $2,000 worth of suspension repairs. Thank you Quebec roads!! 🥳

I realized that all these repairs make my car look like a pile of garbage. But it's far from it. 🤦 One is expensive maintenance and the other is an unfortunate consequence of the quality of roads where I live.

I will be following you as a sign of support brother. We are in this together💪🏽.

With me it was unexpected bills that for the family that I wasn't supposed to pay this time.

You are right, that is why I prioritize everything else before considering buying a watch or saving for one.

On top of that, don't think I am aiming for watches in the hundreds of euros or even in the thousands. I am not even considering any of these for now. I am looking at watches below, around or slightly above the €100 marker. Like à casio duro, lorus sports, A1000, etc etc. If I aim for à 150 euro watch then I will save for a longer time I guess.

At the moment I don't see myself buying a watch above that, but I guess we never know and never say never.😁😅

I had the choice between à casio duro pepsi, casio A1000 and à Lorus sports.

I haven't really considered it because I don't want to buy one that ends up being of horrible quality.

Do you have good recommandations on where I good buy straps or bracelets of good quality at à good price?

Solidarity my brother! We're stronger together. We're going to make it through!!

And then we'll have new watches we'll feel like we've earned.

I'm never going to get $1000+ watches for the foreseeable future. It's not my cup of tea. I aim for value for money pieces. In the end, what's the difference between a Casio F91W and a Rolex Daytona? Both will tell you time. That's what watches are for.

I got mine from WatchGecko.com . Maybe not the cheapest cheapest but a very solid quality and feel for the price.
