Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
Through my old love, Bulova Accutron. After that love was over (just too much maintenance and batteries!) I left it alone for years. Now financially capable of diving in a bit more seriously.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A Casio 5600 of course!
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Patience, patience and patience. A lot of 'must have' feelings will ease away if you sleep over it. If you still want the watch after a few weeks/months/years, buy it.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Oris, H.Moser, Tissot and many microbrands with interesting stuff nowadays!
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
I don't believe in grail watches any more. I think it's just a lie we tell ourselves to justify out erratic and obsessive behaviour.
