Good bye SRPD55k1
In the summer of 2022 i somehow got the idea that i needed a new watch after not wearing one for several years. I was tired of digging out my phone just to know the time... and to see several missed calls because it's on silent mode all the time.
The hunt then led me to Seiko and the SRPD55k1. I actually wanted the SRPE51K1 but the dial was to small for what i was looking for, so the version with a bezel was a suitable alternative.
It's a cool watch and it was fun wearing it at the beginning, but it never really sparked. And than the Turtle came into my life and i finally found the dive watch i wanted to have but never knew it existed. Since than the SRPD55k1 had its regular place in the box and was out of the rotation.
Now it is sold and ready to ship to another seikoholic and hopefully it will see more daylight than in the past.
