Holding off the rest of the year to enjoy my collection and take my time for the next big move but I can say when I am ready it will most likely be a luxury watch.

Also got a PRX this year, could be enticed by the 39mm Zulu Time but would like to save for a grail
This year I only bought relatively cheap watches from Casio. The funny is that it took your post to realize that all my watch purchases for 2023 are from digital watches from Casio.
The cheapest is the AQ-230A.
A bit more expensive is the AE-1200 World Timer moded with the excellent SKXMOD kit and a strap from Vario..
Told myself at the start of the year that I have already completed all my watch purchases in 2022 (bought a Seamaster 1948 in Dec). However, I got a call from the AD at end Jan that the Pelagos 39 I have been waiting for had arrived, so at that stage I told myself "Okay ONE purchase for 2023, only ONE!". Then in Feb while shopping with my friends I saw the Tag Heuer Solargraph and couldn't resist, and at the end of May I pulled the trigger on my first Speedy (Moonwatch 3861).
I want to say that should be it for 2023...but a voice within me says "Are you sure?" :P
The turtle came earlier this year. I’m in a state of equilibrium and zen in my collection at the moment so my intention is bringing it upmarket. Now patiently sabing to replace my SNKL23 for an Aqua Terra, but can’t stop being tempted by new releases…
Maybe another Willard (got 2 want more), certainly the new Pogue cased Seiko 5 55th anniversary, and maybe if the stars align an Omega 2254 (long term target)

The only watch I’ll buy this year is a Datejust if/when I get the call. I’m in no rush so I don’t mind waiting..

Yea I feel the same way honestly I was thinking of grabbing a conquest but going to take a longer period of time to save and go for grail instead.
