Squale Sub 39 Arabic
I sought out for a uniquely designed diver and found it in the Sub 39. The Arabic numbers and sword hands make for a clean vintage look. She dresses down nicely.

Absolutely love it.
I purchased it a few weeks ago just on an impulse, after watching Squale being praised here and there. Loved the Arabic numbers, it’s vintage looks.
I was surprised by how light it is compared to modern divers I own; but then I remembered that all vintage watches were much lighter indeed. So this is clearly a good hommage of their own model and of the designs of the 50s-60s I would guess.
The watch I have is on bracelet and wears really well, the clasp is not the best in class but definitely fine for the price range.
The bezel is a little odd and not too precise, but it works and is smooth.
However, it keeps perfect time (-1 unworn / +2spd worn), and it is a stunner, the kind that looks better in reality than on pictures.
I bet on a real durability for this watch; despite being light it feels sturdy, and the choice of workhorse selitta movement will make it affordable to service.
In a few words : 4,5 / 5 stars for me !
