The bezel is really big (42.8) but the case isn't that bad (41), the lugs are really long (51) but the springbars sit really close to the watch giving it a smaller effective lug to lug (47). All that leads to a watch that feels smaller than it is and looks bigger.

The crystal is acrylic with all the pros and cons. Lume is better than on the other Certina divers I have. The watch comes in a cute pelicase, I like that.

I have no experience with the newer sapphire PH variants.

I got mine used for less than half the msrp. I needed a while to get used to the odd proportions but it's a fun watch to have around.

Then it must have been an accidental purchase, I have no submariner intentions whatsoever 😉

The Duro didn't make it through the first round, it was a close one though
