If I could only have one watch - which one would you chose?
Only big divers starting with 'C' today...
Certina DS Action Diver (43mm)
There was a time when I had zero dive watches. And then I got an SKX. And another. A Mako, a Ray, a Mako XL, Hydroconquest, another SKX, more more more. And I wasn't really happy with either of them. I wanted to consolidate the dive watch mess and started looking for a full sized dive watch that is big but not humongous, neither retro nor modern, pretty but not too dressy. And instead of buying every watch I found - like I did before - I just researched dive watches and came up with this one - my goldilocks big dive watch.
Citizen Promaster Diver (44mm)
I wrote a whole post about this one, it's my cheap beater watch that I grew to like. Because it's so lightweight and slim the 44mm feel less, it's always on time, I never need to change the battery. Maybe the capacitor in a few decades. Whenever I plan some activity where you really shouldn't wear a watch, this is the one I grab.
Which one would you pick?
Love both. Citizen for the titanium and eco drive. Always therfore the go to watch!
I hope the OP can't tell how many times I changed my vote. I settled on the Certina, but in reality I'd start looking at my phone for the time and frequently going bare-wristed.
Both crowns look painfully protuberant. I find plongeur hands to be problematic for quick legibility, and the Citizen's bezel has a polygonal shape that annoys me.

Sorry I only see one vote for each in the notifications 🤷♂️
On a positive note: One of those two won't bother you again next round 👍
Citizen for the story
This was a close one, Citizen advances to the next round by one vote 😮
