My unpopular opinion is that the Khaki is simply too boring to attract my attention. It's a condition that is shared by many other models from brands owned by the Swatch group .

Lorier is smaller and the gilt accents dress it up a bit. Today I have no snark as either would be very acceptable.

·

Want to say ham, but... Having drowned watches in the past, higher water resistance wins the day, and I don’t need extra numerals.

·

I would take the Lorier if it was the size of the Hamilton.

·

Hamilton! Just put mine on a bund. It remains a classic IMO.

I know the trend recently is towards smaller watches but anything smaller than a 38mm looks tiny on my 7 3/4" wrists. Even the odd 38mm I've tried is pushing it. So, for me, Hamilton. Add to that the up to 80 hour power reserve of the Hamilton vs. Lorier's 42 hours, and the decision (for me) is clear. Lorier looks great though. MSRP is comparable, but you can find the Hamilton on sale or discounted making it more affordable than the Lorier as well.

The battle of big boys under 600. If I had a chance to grab a Lorier, I would get it over Hammy. So lucky you. Voting Lorier

If you listen to advice on watch forums every collector/enthusiast must own a Seiko 5, Orient (either Bambino or Kamasu) and then a Hamilton Khaki, in that order.

All fine watches, but I am glad that I have owned exactly none of them. I may someday own a Lorier.

I chose the Falcon purely due to size. I love the Hammy and I had that watch but sold it because the lugs made it wear too large for my little wrist. I don't think you can go wrong with either!

Falcon would do you better as a GADA watch. I do love the Hamilton but the constant posts in forums detailing water damage would make me nervous.
