A few years ago I received this gift from someone special. It's a Skagen Hagen World Time. I really love the look of the minimalist circular stainless steel case, beautiful white dial, and slim brown leather strap. Aside from the little date window, it also has a useful dual timezone feature and alarm ringer.
Despite being a quartz fashion watch, there's something to be said about this particular Skagen's white dial. There's a subtle twinkle on its flat surface, looking almost like a fine sandblasted finish. The concentric rings of the sub dials at 12 and 6 give off a polished sheen under the light. The hour markings and tiny timezone names are etched rather than printed on the dial. I feel like these little details make this watch one of Skagen's best designs.

White city names and white indices on a white dial. I don't know about that. My old eyes enjoy contrast.

That's interesting, indeed the city names are probably between 1-2 mm in height and I've been taking my eyesight for granted. They do disappear into the dial, but I like the way it looks overall!
