The new Tudor Black Bay Monochrome with the five link is...

...bloody nice. Here it is vs my 124060 Submariner and I want BB monochrome to sit in my watch case beside it.

The dial with its subtle sunburst and maxi indices work. Two line of text is fine. From afar after a few drinks or medication it looks like the Sub. The jubilee style comes without rivets and makes the new watch modern looking.

Definitely close to a confluence of both Tudor and Rolex. A singularity. Two more updates and we might see that happening. But this, looks superb and looks great as well as wesrscwell on d wrist (13.2mm thick is slim enuff). Not a placeholder for the Sub but darn close. For a collector like me it deserves a place in my collection of divers.

Nice, jubilee bracelet is a definite winner over the faux rivets on the 3 link

Love the look of it I only wish they did a date version as well

Pretty dang close, jeez. I miss the crown guards, but I don't miss the 'spending $5,000 more dollars'

Got to try it on today.

Wears a fair bit smaller on me than on you LOL.

The jubilee bracelet is definitely the way to go.

Crown guards would make it too close to the Sub and too close to a Pelagos in some ways. Too much convergence if that happened. May be years away before Tudor/Rolex design singularity ever happens again, or maybe never

Yes. U have chunky wrists compared to mine. But was comparing it to the Burgundy which had the oyster style bracelet , it wasn't close. There was only one of the three variants at the store
