My last watch for 2023❤️
Hi watchfam, today i would like to share with you my latest purchase:
My Nomos Ludwig 38mm Email with an alpha caliber and saphire caseback.
I was expecting some money to arrive and today a part of it finally showed up in my bank account, so i went to my AD and left him the first stake as a deposite. Due to my friendship to my AD, he let me take it home, with only the deposite payed and i'm really thankful for that.
To buy a second Nomos was a long lasting wish of mine. Therefore i tried on a variety of different models. Finally i found what i was looking for and here we are.
The Ludwig is not only another watch for the collection, it is a reward for myself and for my adventures in 2023, one of the best years of my life yet.
2024 on the other hand is going to be a year of savings, acording to mayor live changes, i'm expecting. With this thought in my head i wanted to buy my last luxury watch in the upcoming future.
The Ludwig is such a beauty. 37.5 case, 47.5 lugtolug, under 10mm thick and a marvelous, comfortable caseshape, certainly music to my ears and just perfect on the wrist. It is of course more of a dresswatch, but yet understated enough for daily wear as well. I find myself mostly in suits these days, so it will get its fair share of wrist time.
The enamel dial and the heat blued hands make a beautiful contrast and pop up only when the light hits the right angle. Otherwise they are hidden to the unschooled eye. Allthough i own my beloved Nomos Club Campus 713, the caseback on the Club remains closed and engraved as it was always ment to be. So i'm really glad that i was able to buy the version of the Ludwig with the saphire caseback. The Nomos Alpha caliber is just stunning. Simple in construction, but beautifully decorated in the details.
I'm simply over the moon with my new Ludwig 237🥰

Thanks! The Tangente is a wounderful watch as well. The Ludwig and the Tangente seem really similar at first sight, but the case shape is completely different. It really is a matter of preference. Both great!👍🏼
