And another watch from Pagani Design. The PD-1723 is an absolutely successful homage to an early and exceptional Rolex Oyster Perpetual Airking from 1958 with the reference 5500. A reminder of the aviation pioneers and the role of the watch in the heyday of aviation, the golden age of great successes and conquests of the Air in the 1930s.
The watch has a diameter of 36.5mm, a bandwidth of 20mm and a height of 12.5mm. The watch, weighing 129 g, is driven by the PT5000 automatic movement from H.K. Precision Techn. (HKPT) with 25 jewels and a power reserve of 41 hours. This watch has both an anti-reflective sapphire glass and a sapphire glass bottom.
At a price well below €200, Pagani Design has once again managed to come up with a great bargain. I couldn't resist 😀
