Thank you @DeepSixInt!! Yes, to be honest, it does get quite some looks. I was going for the blue version, but got the black dial delivered, and fell I love with it.

The black was a great choice. Pictures definitely don’t do it justice (my own experience with seeing watches in person vs in a photo).
It adds a mood that just works with that dial design.
