Some impressions from my Superocean Japanese Special Edition 🇯🇵

I really fallen in love with this gorgeous timepiece. It’s a real all day beater. I have never been a big fan of Breitling. But with this watch the brand got my attention. It was a very spontaneous purchase and I don’t regret it at all. The bracelet, the dial and the anti reflecting coating are amazing.

This watch steals a lot of wrist time from my blue Omega SMP300. 😅

Breitling doesn't make a bad SO. Each one gets better and the older variants certainly stand the test of time. Gorgeous 😍😍

My frugal friend suggested an espresso coffee after our lunch, we walked into a kitchen wares boutique where a tall striking young woman was demonstrating complimentary Nespresso coffees, lol. My friend was more interested in the lady but she was wearing a Breitling Super ocean without the chrono function. I am a long time fan of Breitling but always Chronomats and Navitimers. Later that day in a meeting with some potential clients one of the principals was interested in the Super Avenger on my wrist, he was wearing a Panerai, we started to chat, guy tells me about this Amazon that he and his buddies admire from a safe distance and the watch she wears. My SO Heritage is an older model with an ETA movement purchased shortly after I noticed the watch on the wrist of the Nespresso lady more than 10 years ago serviced once by Breitling service centre keeps very accurate time. One of my favourite watches from before Georges Kern became ceo of the brand.

That’s a great story. Thanks for sharing it. I can’t totally relate to that. Sometimes you spot a watch “in the wild” 😂 and you can’t stop thinking about it. You start to make researches, look it up on the internet, check some YouTube videos and in the end you admire and want it. I thinks that’s why we are a bit addicted 😅 of course speaking of myself here :)

Happens more than we admit! The SO Heritage was never on my radar. No regrets, one of my daughters wants the watch when I’m ready to give it up, haha. Take care, thx for posting images of your watch. ❤️
