My first Automatic watch
Automatic > Quartz
Or so I thought as i was knocking on the door to the world of watches. A very common perception in the mind of a young watch enthusiast. As i venture deeper into the watch world, i have come to learn to appreciate every single timepiece. Lets not get lost in all the mechanical and craft of watchmaking and forget about the very thing a watch/clock was invented for, to tell time.

Great first watch and thank you for reminding us about being grateful for our little hobby. This community made me realize that Casio quartz watches have just the same huge cult following as any other brand, including Seiko.

Thank you. Oh yes, i fell into that pit and own a couple of casio quartz myself
I realized after getting more and more quartz this hobby is not only about spring and cogs but motherboards and batteries especially when we have a clock on our phone anyway they are more about style than function at the core at this point although mechanical watches are very cool
