Need to substitute the subdial hands on my MTP-1375

Hi,

I've been asking about this on Facebook but without much success.

My problem is that I can't read the subdials because the glare on the hands is almost the same of the dial.

In desperation, I'm going to try to paint the hands black but I can imagine a lot of ways in that can go wrong.

So I started looking for hands that I could install instead of the originals. I think I found a source in https://blog.esslinger.com but now, my problem is what size must I order. I don't trust myself to measure sub-millimeter sizes, I've been looking for service manuals or part lists, but I guess that they are trade secrets or only available to true watchmakers.

Anyone here know where I can get that information ? Please.

Thank you

I wish I knew. Casio will list the module/movement and from there you can source some parts watch that may have preferable hands. In the near future I plan to annoy my watchmaker with an old Casio chrono that has missing hands to see what he'll charge.

Casio make their own movements and all the quartz hands are different from the auto's. Since hardly any Casio's are worth repairing or modding there is no info out there on them. Here is another place to try. The only readily available quartz chrono hands are for the VK63 Seiko and they are cheap on Ali

Thanks for the link, I'm sure that one of those will work.
