State of the Collection and Metrics.
So we all like watches. We like precision. So for the new year I have began logging every day what watches I wear! now there is some variance but this is the general structure:
[W]orn all day: a watch I wore like 12+ hours. Basically a watch I can tell myself “I wore it all day”
Worn [P]art of the day: watch I wore more than 4 hours but didn’t really wear all day
Worn [B]riefly: worn briefly. can be as little as 10 minutes, or 4 hours
[D]ebated Wearing: put thought into wearing it. Maybe even opted to try it on but decided not to.
To best keep track of this I decided to use a Google sheet and made a shortcut on my home screen:

As you can clearly see I really like my Omegas. haha.
I also have two fake Rolexes that are just shit BUT they have fun stories behind them. A fake submariner that my ex obtained as part of her research into intellectual property theft for her job and she let me keep after she was done with it and a gold day-date that I also obtained through the similar means.
Theyre terrible but the stories are fun!
Of course the rest of the collection I rotate through and my #WRUW will show it.

Watching time! Have loved watches since I was a kid and made my dad give me his broken Seiko. I didn’t know how to read it, but I felt so cool!

Maybe I should try keeping some data. Would be interesting to see what gets worn the least. I try my best to keep a rotation, but there’s some obvious favorites.

Yeah that’s what i wanted to see. Especially if i decide to sell a piece or two i’ll know what i wear the least! also cool to see if my preferences or tastes change!
