Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
Have always liked watches, even when I made my dad give me his old broken Seiko before I knew how to even read it. Recently gotten back into it as I wanted a decent watch to wear to work.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A broken Seiko 5 🤣
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
I have a Tissot PRX Powermatic 80 with the custom “Interstellar” dial from IFLW. Turns out my dad had an old PRX in the 80s and he loved it so I got him a replacement so I feel connected to him through that watch.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Buy what you like. Be mindful of your budget. And a new strap can make a watch feel brand new!
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
I can’t get Tudor out of my mind!
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Bluesy Submariner. It’s what I think about when I think about a Rolex and what I think about when I picture a watch.
