80 years of timekeeping.
This watch is 4 times my age and will probably outlive me. It’s tracked time throughout one of humanity’s darkest and most violent hours and now sits on my wrist whilst I drink a coffee on a sunny Saturday afternoon and keep an eye on my parking meter. I’m proud that I get to accompany it through a part of its journey.
One day soon I’ll replace the crystal as the existing one is quite scratched and has a couple of cracks.
