Watches under microscope Video, vol. 11 Citizen Promaster BN0100

Today we take a closer look at the Citizen Promaster BN0100

This is an ISO certified dive watch that uses Eco-Drive technology, so its battery is powered by light, and it doesn't matter if it's sunlight or artificial light.

I like this watch the best out of all the Citizens that have passed through my hands. At first glance, the dull grey dial reveals refined applied indices on closer inspection, and the orange minute hand brightens up the monochrome theme of the watch. A macro look reveals some flaws, but given the price of the watch, these are easily forgivable transgressions.

As always, excuse the quality of the shots, which were taken with a kid's microscope. At the same time, keep in mind that due to the lighting and extreme magnification, even those flaws that are otherwise hidden to the observer's eye will stand out.

Given the price point, the quality is acceptable to me.
