What amount of tapering do you like on your straps?

When choosing a leather strap or let's say even a bracelet, what amount of tapering do you like?

I prefer a slightly tapering strap but oddly I'm quite happy with no tapering on a bracelet!

One of the reasons I declined to purchase a new version Explorer is the dramatic tapering of the bracelet.  A little is good but too much is worse than none.

4mm. Love some good tapering. Really dislike my sports Grand Seikos bracelets because of the meager 2mm taper. Makes the whole thing look unnecessarily chunky, espcially compared to my BB58 (4mm). Put them on 4mm taper leather straps and they wear far bettee (even though more top heavy).

Top heavy is a good point. Thinner watches tend to be more balanced on 4mm taper bracelets. Tudor tapered only 2mm in their BB pro bracelet to counter the chunky watch case.

2mm is a Seiko thing I guess, almost every Seiko I own with a bracelet has only a 2mm taper. I don't really mind it on the 20mm bracelets but extra tapering on 22mm bracelet really helps the chunky look.

Yeah the 2mm on the BBPro is perfect. I think 20 to 18 is a good taper. 20 to 16 can be a bit aggressive depending on the watch.
