It did get ugly, and you are very correct it did work out in the end. We have the best styles of all era's being released by most brands and there is something to satisfy everyones tastes
The 70s era of watch design is probably my most dislike decade. I cannot stand integrated bracelets, just looks like something grandpa would wear. That's just my opinion though. I wouldn't say no to a Patek lol 😂 the 60s skin diver is more my style.
